Through the eyes of a tree

valand17

Dusk from Vålandstårnet in Stavanger, through a birch tree. Speedlite used to offset the lamppost behind the tree. When I got home I found out that someone found a dead baby in a polythene bag just yards from where the picture was taken. It certainly puts a week at work in perspective.

About skinke

Since buying my first digital camera 8 years ago (a Fujifilm finepix f310 for those interested) I have been hooked on photography. I'm primarily interested in landscapes and static scenes, but recently I've discovered macro photography and wildlife photography too. My hobbies are golf, fishing, and travelling, so the photos necessarily reflect this.

I like this, the dusk gave it a cool effect along with the backlight.

I agree, a bit disturbing to know that you where only yards away
