Wildlife in town. Apparently seagulls are a big problem in the UK, but here they’re not so bad.

Since buying my first digital camera 8 years ago (a Fujifilm finepix f310 for those interested) I have been hooked on photography. I'm primarily interested in landscapes and static scenes, but recently I've discovered macro photography and wildlife photography too. My hobbies are golf, fishing, and travelling, so the photos necessarily reflect this.

    Nice sharp action shot, I never manage to get this kind of shot sharp…

    If it’s any help I used the AI servo setting for the autofocus, and I focused on the bird using only one AF point. When you hold the shutter button half way down, it automatically refocuses on the moving object. I also had the camera on Time Priority (T) mode and 1/1000 sec.
