The tourist trade has really done it's damage to the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Crappy whisky shops, tourist traps with awful faux folk music and places where you can trace your "Scottish" heritage are all over the place.

Since buying my first digital camera 8 years ago (a Fujifilm finepix f310 for those interested) I have been hooked on photography. I'm primarily interested in landscapes and static scenes, but recently I've discovered macro photography and wildlife photography too. My hobbies are golf, fishing, and travelling, so the photos necessarily reflect this.
