Not much time for photography these days, lots to do at work, and lots of golf to play:) These are in the neighbours garden, so I didn’t have to go very far.

Since buying my first digital camera 8 years ago (a Fujifilm finepix f310 for those interested) I have been hooked on photography. I'm primarily interested in landscapes and static scenes, but recently I've discovered macro photography and wildlife photography too. My hobbies are golf, fishing, and travelling, so the photos necessarily reflect this. My current camera is an EOS 5D MKII. The lenses I use are: an EF 50mm f/1.8, an EF 100mm f/2.8 L USM macro, an EF 70-200 f/4 L USM, and an EF 24-105 f/4 L USM.

I understand about the golf! I played at least 9 holes for 8 days in a row (18 holes the last 4 days of that stretch). It’s been rainy and cold the last couple of days, or I’d have gotten 9 more holes in each day. Take a camera along with you! My last two blog posts are about photos taken on a couple of different courses around here.
