The curious boy

One of the benefits of working for Canon, albeit in a non photographic rôle is that you get access to good lenses at a reasonable price. The 70-200 lens I have is from the L series of lenses, and is the same one used by journalists etc.

With this lens mounted, you all of a sudden look like a pro instead of an annoying tourist, and people start coming up to you and asking why you’re there and what you are doing. This boy in Urbino was very curious and was adamant that I take a picture of him:) I love the way his glasses are squint, his face is squint and his teeth are squint. He seems completely honest and his curiosity shines out of the picture. Thank you Raphael!

About skinke

Since buying my first digital camera 8 years ago (a Fujifilm finepix f310 for those interested) I have been hooked on photography. I'm primarily interested in landscapes and static scenes, but recently I've discovered macro photography and wildlife photography too. My hobbies are golf, fishing, and travelling, so the photos necessarily reflect this.
