Over on the other side of the mountains from us in Numedal, autumn comes a lot earlier than it does near Stavanger. The old abandoned railway line provides a nice frame:)

This weeks photofriday challenge is “plants”. With the weather being terrible these days, and no nice colours outside, I’ve taken one of the photos from the spring and posted. I promise that when the autumn colours make their long awaited entrance, I’ll be out there like a shot taking photos:)

Urban landscape
This week’s photofriday challenge is “Urban landscape”. I took the liberty of interpreting this rather loosely and set off in search of some nature in town. Luckily there’s a nice park near where I live (right next to the motorway) and this fern was growing there. Urban landscape? You decide.

…has nothing to do with the picture, but I overheard to kids at the bus stop discussing this when I walked past with the dog the other day. I had to restrain myself from bursting out laughing:) Anyway, another one of sunset today, I’ll go for the “urban landscape” challenge tomorrow.

The sunset tonight was spectacular, a lot of bad weather on the way. Would you believe that we’ve had 24 days of rain out of the last 30? I really hate the rain, and that autumn is on its way.
