My word it’s cold in Copenhagen tonight. A quick walk along Nyhavn resulted in almost frostbite (it felt like). I had to duck in to a cinema and watch SPECTRE just to get warm. Anyway, this place looked appealing – golden light in the blue hour.
They say that photography is all about good light. Find the good light and then decide what to photograph. But what if there isn’t any good light? What if the world looks like all the colour has been drained out of it by some invisible colour-sucking-out-of-the-world device? What then?
Not black tie white noise, unfortunately. Very sad to see the news of Mr Bowie’s departure from the mortal coil, but it happens to us all in the end. In the meantime, our dog is 13 tomorrow and thinks she is 4.
We had a light dusting of snow yesterday, about a foot. And it’s still coming down. Needless to say the kids are loving it, not least Alexander who has decided that sledges are for wimps.
I headed out in my lunch break today to take some pictures at Tjuvholmen. The temperature was -11 and there was a breeze so I managed to stay outside for about 5 minutes before coming in.
It snowed last night, so of course we had to go out into the garden today to practice skiing. It was Caitlins first time on the planks and she seemed a bit bemused by the whole thing (quite right too).
