What to do for an evening in Paris on a business trip? Wandering around looking for reflections seemed as good an idea as any, so when I found this puddle it was worth playing with. Kudos to the developers at Canon that enable me to take this shot hand-held at nighttime.
The war memorial in Gotherington was a moving sight. The wreaths from rememberance Sunday were still there, as were these tiny wooden crosses. Next year it will be 100 years since the start of the First World War.
For the first time since we moved here (3 years ago) we’ve got real Stavanger weather in Bærum. Rain on the windows, gale force winds = bowl of crisps and a glass of red wine. Oh, and a photo of the raindrops on the window as proof.
There can’t be many more iconic images of Paris than the Eiffel Tower taken from the top of the Galleries Lafayette at sunset. Strange then, that all the Chinese tourists seemed more concerned with getting a shot of themselves in front of the Galleries’ advertising board.
