The downside is lack of colour, the upside is that there are a lot of cool light effects to be had.

Another one from the other morning. It was beautiful and sunny up the local ski hill, but down in the valley it was really dark and misty. I like the church steeple sticking up through the fog though.              

It looked like another really miserable day photography wise, but I noticed the fog lifting at around 10 and went out to see what I could find. Yet again the weather has been awful. The wee man and I were not to be discouraged, however. We went down and fed the ducks at the pond. The only negative was that we ran out of bread sooner than anticipated, and the wee man got a bit cross.

So I only managed to get 1 shot that was worth doing anything with. The river was really high and a long exposure made for a flowing…

So, it’s been raining a lot here recently. I took the wee man, the dog and my camera out yesterday, and came across this – a tree on a lawn under water.
