A blustery, cold but extremely sunny day here in Stavanger yesterday. The wee man and his cousin were pretty taken with the waves at the beach. Good job we had a change of clothes to hand.

One of the “benefits” of having small children is waking up really early. This morning in Stockholm was clear, crisp and sunny. A walk in the old town (gamla stan) was a must.
Earthshine is the sunlight reflected from the earth’s surface that illuminates part of the moon not directly lighted by the sun. It’s really only viewable during extreme crescent moons because as the area of the moon lit by the sun increases it obscures the faint light.
