well, not actually steaming. It’s snow production at our local ski slope. Tiny drops of water are shot into the air and frozen by the -14C temperature outside. [twitter style=”horizontal” float=”left”] [fbshare type=”button”] [linkedin_share style=”none”]

The downside is lack of colour, the upside is that there are a lot of cool light effects to be had.

Another one from the other morning. It was beautiful and sunny up the local ski hill, but down in the valley it was really dark and misty. I like the church steeple sticking up through the fog though.              

It looked like another really miserable day photography wise, but I noticed the fog lifting at around 10 and went out to see what I could find. Yet again the weather has been awful. The wee man and I were not to be discouraged, however. We went down and fed the ducks at the pond. The only negative was that we ran out of bread sooner than anticipated, and the wee man got a bit cross.
