I headed out in my lunch break today to take some pictures at Tjuvholmen. The temperature was -11 and there was a breeze so I managed to stay outside for about 5 minutes before coming in.
Usually a good sunset means looking into the sun, but not tonight. The sun is behind and to the right of me in this picture, and the light on the clouds is absolutely amazing. Later on, the traditional sunset was amazing too.
…not really. It was quite spectacular. We arrived at the hut at 9 in the evening. It was 29 degrees, we were sweaty, tired and really annoyed (ripping each others heads off). This sunset made up for it.
So the view from my sisters cabin is not just sea and saand. I love the way a long lens compresses distance. There is about 40 km of depth in this shot.
