Well, they’re not ducks actually, they’re something called erfugl in Norwegian. I don’t know what the English name is, but they’re braver than me in those waves.
So, back from a lovely Easter holiday, and a photo of some birds (oystercatchers in English, Tjeld in Norwegian) keeping watch so that no predators can catch their young. Hope everyone had a good holiday and is ready for going back to work:)
It’s been really foggy here the last few days, not usually a source of inspiration to photographers, but I managed to find a few good angles that I’ll post in the next few days.
It almost looks like it, although it’s only water. Today the thermometer crept above 12 degrees for the first time since November, so that spring feeling really made its presence felt.
You can always tell when it’s spring my Mum used to say, because the children get dressed up and come out to dig. The same can be said of the teenagers, except they go to the funfair when it’s 6 degrees outside.
New theme for the page. If you like it I’ll carry on using it. Give me feedback. It’s spring now, (at least, I keep telling myself that). So this will be my last winter post, and let’s hope I don’t have occasion to regret it.
