This weeks Photofriday challenge (www.photofriday.com) is Enormous. We were at the beach yesterday and in the face of a stiff northerly breeze we had a fantastic time. Or at least I did. The others complained about the wind.
Liquid
I don’t usually post photos without any alterations, but there are no tricks here. The sky really was that dark, the sun coming in low off my left shoulder made the waves that white, and the dogs really were having that much fun. What a great day. This weeks photofriday challenge is Liquid.
Fluffy water
This weeks Photofriday challenge is “Fluffy”. With the low sun, and fading light at this time of year, the conditions are perfect for a long exposure of waves.
Back to my roots
Out at the beach with my 70-200 at the weekend I was amazed at how good the weather can be near Stavanger in October. Pity we’ve got months of awful weather coming up, but best to enjoy the last of the warm sun.
The beach at 0600
A nighttime thunderstorm gave me a rare chance to see a great sunrise (because I’m a lazy photographer who likes to sleep in, in case you wondered.)
Shades of brown
This weeks photofriday challenge is “Brown”. I saw these rocks at a local beach and liked the different shades of the colour they reflect.
Layers
The sea and sky seem to be mirroring eash other here, layer upon layer of colours.
