Did I mention that it’s been raining? A lot? The river usually meanders along at about 5 cubic metres a second. Today it peaked at 94! I think the word unfishable applies. Except for the guy who fished with worms and got 3 in four casts. Bastard.
Raindrops
Did I mention that it’s been raining rather a lot here recently? Yesterday was no exception. The river rose again and the fishing has been excellent, but I must say that I’m longing for a bit of sunshine.
Sharp focus

After the rain
It’s been a strange few days. The mercury’s been hovering around the 24 degree mark, but it’s been absolutely chucking it down with rain. My 100mm macro f/2.8L really comes in to it’s own in these conditions.
Frustration
After days and days of beautiful weather, we revert to type for this part of Norway. Rain rain go away, come again another day – preferably a weekday when I don’t have time to take pictures. On the positive side, I actually got off my ass and bothered to find out how the A-Dep function [...]
The only way is up
On a rainy day in Oslo, the only way to look at the new opera house is to look up. (Well, not the only way, but it gives an interesting perspective).
