Edinburgh at Christmas

They lit the Christmas lights in Edinburgh when we were there last weekend. One of the best features is the winter fun park with a ferris wheel and an ice-skating rink.

Spring

For people in more southerly countries, spring is not such a big deal, but up here in Norway, spring is something to be celebrated. In Stavanger right now, the Daffodils and Crocuses have started blooming. In Edinburgh, they’re 2-3 weeks ahead of us.

No, not THE Edinburgh castle, but Tantallon castle just outside Edinburgh. Which seems an appropriate time to mention that I’m off to Edinburgh tomorrow for a long weekend with she who must  be obeyed.
