In the bleak midwinter

So, a new year. Let’s hope and pray that it’s a year that delivers everything a new year promises. Unfortunately we already know it won’t. There will still be bigots; people content to let their ignorance get in the way of their humanity. There will still be people who instead of helping where they can will put blame and suspicion on those who have neither the shoulders or the ability to bear it.

Anyway. This marks the start of a new project – 2016 in pictures. I will try to take a picture a day and to tie it into a topic of the moment.
